This Happy Friday reader makes the most of our Hip2Save deals!
We love hearing how readers utilize the deals on our site to save money. This week’s Happy Friday reader, Amy, took advantage of some recent Walgreens deals we shared and she was able to stock her gift closet for under $6.50! 🎁
Here’s how Amy did it:
“On 9/9 you posted a deal about 90% off summer clearance at Walgreens and then on 9/11 you posted a deal about 4 free photo bookmarks.”
“I placed the bookmark order, and when I picked up the order on 9/13, I looked in store for the clearance and found these 5 items. The 3 stuffed animals were $1 each and the 2 [stuffed animals] with blankets were $1.50 each. I paid $6.48 for these and my bookmarks were free.”
“Here’s my receipt. I appreciate being alerted to these deals and in-store I had to price check the stuffed animals using their app because they weren’t marked.
I’ll keep a couple of these for baby gifts and the others will be donated to a toy drive at Christmas.”
