The Best Black Friday Streaming Deals: What to Expect

2 hours ago 1

Stream-flation has been real again this year, with services like Paramount+ recently raising prices, and Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ stand-alone plans increasing prices effective October 17. Last year, stream-flation also resulted in higher prices at Netflix and Disney+. While these increases tend to be small, when it all adds up at the end of the month it’s more than we want to dish out.

If you’ve been dying to binge a show and facing the sticker shock of adding yet another $9.99 (or more!) charge to your monthly bills, we’ve got some welcome news: Streaming deals are known to be really good on Black Friday. Last year services like Peacock and Hulu priced their subscriptions to sell, giving you up to 70% to 80% off for a year in some cases. We predict like in years past Black Friday 2024 will offer deals and promos across multiple streaming services. We’ll take a look at last year’s Black Friday deals to help us anticipate what to expect this season. And, of course, we’ll update you when the official streaming service Black Friday sales drop.

Before you sign up, remember:

  • Read the fine print. Some of these offers are for new customers only. Some of these are for plans with ads.

Budget savvy tip:

  • Set a calendar reminder for the end of your discount window. Whether it’s six months or a year, you’ll need to remember to cancel before your monthly rate shoots back up to the normal rate. These services are hoping you’ll forget.
