It really varies since we do see Apple deals pop up during major holidays like Memorial Day, Black Friday, Prime Day and even smaller events like Valentine’s day from major retailers. Depending on your definition of discount, the latest iPhones generally are discounted if you go through a carrier like AT&T or Verizon where you may have to trade-in a phone and sign up for a monthly payment plan. These are usually carrier locked, meaning if you get your phone from Verizon, you may have to unlock the phone to use it with a different carrier. You will have to look at the terms and conditions when buying the iPhone to see if the phone is carrier locked and when you can get the phone unlocked.

There are many options to get refurbished or used condition older iPhones.
