Those of you who have concerns about putting off your holiday shopping until the very end of November (Black Friday falls on Nov. 29 this year!) will be delighted to know that October is once again shaping up to be a standout month for savings! Amazon will be hosting its Prime Big Deal Days Sale (although it hasn’t shared the official dates yet) and, now, Target has revealed it is bringing back Circle Week from Oct. 6 to Oct. 12.
Target Circle Week – All You Need to Know
Target is known for hosting a Circle Week sale in early October. It is often seen as sort of a pre- pre-Black Friday sale. There are always some great deals to be found and Target often has impressive gift card with purchase promotions. This year, however, it appears we are going to see even deeper discounts and a wider product selection!
Target states that this year it will have its largest holiday assortment ever, including thousands of exclusive, on-trend items, along with more deals and ways to save.
“Consumers are getting ready for one of the most exciting times of the year, which is why we’re leaning into the magic of Tarzhay like never before — with an assortment, value and experience only Target can deliver,” said Rick Gomez, Target’s executive vice president and chief commercial officer in the retailer’s press release. “From only-at-Target exclusives to the return of Target Circle Week and great deals every day, our plans are unmistakably Target and will add extra sparkle and delight to the holidays.”
Unlike Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days sale, which requires shoppers to pay for a Prime membership to shop, Target Circle is completely free to join. While there is a paid membership tier (more on this below), you don’t need to be a paid member to shop this sale.
What Will Be On Sale at Target During Circle Week?
Target has’t revealed its specific Target Circle Week (Oct. 6 to 12) deals yet, but it has shared some of the affordable gift-able items and holiday essentials that shoppers will be able to find in stores and online. These include:
- Thousands of stocking stuffers under $5, including the Bullseye’s Playground value section in store and online
- 80% of Target’s Wondershop holiday items are $10 and under
- More than 150 new gifting items for the home, most $15 and under
- Party-ready women’s dresses starting at $20 and family PJs starting at $10
- Hundreds of only-at-Target gifts for babies and pets starting at $10
Target is also bringing back its partnership with beloved British retailer Marks & Spencer and you will find exclusive “Wicked” merchandise available at Target – thanks to its partnership with Universal Products & Experiences.
Shoppers will also be thrilled to know Target’s infamous Deal of the Day will be making a comeback this October, too!
Target Deal of the Day
Target’s Deal of the Day savings event showcases a new standout deal to Circle members every day. This will occur during Circle Week (from Oct. 6 to 12) and then return through the holiday season, starting on Nov. 1.
About Target Circle
You can check out our complete guide to Target Circle here. To give you a sense of it all, basically, Target Circle is a free rewards program that allows shoppers to access exclusive deals (like during Target Circle Week) and earn rewards points on purchases, along with other perks, at no cost.
Earlier in the year, Target did launch a paid tier of its Target Circle membership: Target Circle 360. Target Circle 360 gives shoppers a number of perks and benefits, but you don’t need this membership level to shop Target Circle Week.
By the way, you also won’t need to worry about applying promo codes to your cart at checkout during Circle Week. Deals will be automatically applied at checkout for Target Circle members (in store and online).
