Southwest Airlines has launched a new fare sale for its Week of WOW promotion, which also includes 10 million miles giveaway.

The Dallas-based airline is offering up to 40 percent off base fares on flights through March 2025 to many popular destinations.

You need to book your flights directly with Southwest by October 3, and use promo code SAVEWOW. The promo code should be already applied in the promo box.

Many routes are eligible for this promotion, but there are some important blackout dates for domestic and international flights during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

Here are the details:

• Book by October 3, 2024.
• Valid on select cont. U.S. flights from 10/29/24-1/31/25 and intl./PR/HI flights 10/29/24-3/5/25.
• Blackout dates:
  • Continental U.S. travel blacked out 11/26-11/27, 11/29-12/2, 12/20-12/23, 12/26-12/29, 1/2, and 1/4-1/5.
  • Travel to intl. and HI blacked out 11/21-11/25, 12/18-1/7, and 2/13-2/16.
  • Travel from intl. and HI blacked out 11/29-12/3, 12/18-1/7, and 2/21-2/24.
  • Travel to PR blacked out 11/21-11/25 and 12/18-1/7.
  • Travel from PR blacked out 11/29-12/3 and 12/18-1/7.
