New Marriott Bonvoy Bold Bonus and Pay Yourself Back Feature

Chase and Marriott have launched a new welcome bonus for the Marriott Bonvoy Bold® Credit Card. This new bonus matches the best ever offer that we saw last summer when the card was refreshed. On top of that, cardholders can now also take advantage of Chase’s Pay Yourself Back benefit. Let’s go over the details.

The Offer

  • Earn 60,000 bonus points and one Free Night Award (valued up to 50,000 points) after spending $2,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening.
  • No Annual Fee
  • DIRECT LINK

Your Free Night Award may be combined with up to 15,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. Each Free Night Award issued will have an expiration of 12 months.

Card Highlights

  • Earn 2X points for every $1 spent at grocery stores, and on rideshare, select food delivery, select streaming, and internet, cable and phone services.
  • Earn up to 14X total points for every $1 spent at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy
  • Automatic Silver Elite status with Marriott Bonvoy that renews each year. With Silver Elite status, cardmembers get access to perks like Priority Late Checkout (when available) and 10% more points on stays at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy.
  • 5 Elite Night Credits every calendar year

New Pay Yourself Back Feature

The Marriott Bonvoy Bold Card is not the only Marriott credit card to get Chase’s Pay Yourself Back benefit.

New and existing Marriott Bonvoy Bold cardmembers can now redeem points for a statement credit to cover qualifying travel purchases made directly with airlines or at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy, up to $750 total in redemptions per year.

For instance, cardmembers can use 12,500 points to cover a purchase of $100, which gives you a decent value of 0.8 cents per point.
