Marriott Bonvoy and Aeroplan Status Match
Marriott Bonvoy and Aeroplan has expanded their loyalty partnership with the ability to match elite status and transfer points between the two programs.
Through this enhanced loyalty partnership, Aeroplan 50K, 75K, and Super Elite Members will receive complimentary Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite Status. If you have eligible Aeroplan status, you can match here.
On the other hand, Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite and Ambassador Elite members will receive complimentary Aeroplan 25K Status. If you have eligible Marriott Bonvoy status, you can match here.
The joint member must link their Marriott Bonvoy account and Aeroplan account to unlock the status match across programs.
With Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status, members can enjoy exclusive benefits including priority late check out (subject to availability), enhanced room upgrades (subject to availability), and 25% bonus Marriott Bonvoy points on eligible stays. In turn, Aeroplan 25K Status Members can enjoy priority airport services that currently include priority check-in and boarding, two complimentary checked bags, eUpgrade credits, complimentary preferred seats and more.
In addition, Aeroplan Elite Status Members can now convert their Aeroplan points into Marriott Bonvoy points at a 1:1 ratio, which is clearly not the best use of your Aeroplan points.
This is in addition to the already existing ability for members to convert their Marriott Bonvoy points into Aeroplan points at a 3:1 ratio.
