In the mood for some baking? Make these delicious salted caramel oatmeal cookies that are soft with a mouth-watering chewy texture.

Salted Caramel Oatmeal Cookies

You'll love these simple oatmeal cookies with salted caramel chips that have a chewy and soft texture!

Directions

Cream together butter and sugars.

Stir in eggs and vanilla.

In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, salt, baking soda and oatmeal.

Slowly combine dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix.

Mix in caramel chips.

Form tablespoon sized balls with dough onto a silicone baking mat or parchment paper lined baking sheet.

Flatten dough balls slightly with palm of hand or back of spoon.

Bake in the oven at 375 degrees for about 8-9 minutes, until slightly golden brown.

Transfer to a cooling rack and sprinkle with additional salt, if desired.
