JetBlue Mini Mint Coming to Airbus Fleet
JetBlue is planning to offer a first class product on domestic flights. The New York based airline will launch “Mini Mint” in 2026 for all of its Airbus fleet.
The news was first reported by Live and Let’s Fly, which also reveals that JetBlue will use the Collins Aerospace MiQ seat pictured above. Other domestic carriers such as American , Delta and United also use this seat for their premium offerings.
The MiQ seat includes these features, as listed on their website:
- Four-way adjustable headrest
- Generous recline, up to 10 inches
- Full size bi-fold table
- Easy access with adjustable aisle armrest
- Literature and personal item storage
- Latest in-flight entertainment integration
The report says that Mini Mint will have 36-37 inches of legroom and Even More Space will have 35 inches. But Economy passengers will suffer, as their seats go from an industry best of 32 inches to 30 inches of legroom.
Live and Let’s Fly also shared the configurations that are expected for each aircraft:
- A220: 143 seats, including 8 Mini Mint (MM) and 135 Core (economy)
- A320: 162 seats, including 12 MM and 150 economy
- A321ceo: 198 seats, including 12 MM and 186 economy
- A321neo: 200 seats, including 12 MM and 188 economy
