How to Get Free Flowers From Lowe’s This September

2 months ago 25

Nothing says “fall” quite like a bunch of bright orange or yellow mums adorning your front stoop. If you’re heading to a home improvement store to pick up a few pots of these cheerful autumn blooms, you might want to choose Lowe’s. On Sept. 13 and 14, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., the retailer will sweeten the deal by throwing in a free fall flower for MyLowe’s Rewards Members. There’s no purchase necessary to get your free gift.

Not part of the MyLowe’s Rewards loyalty program? Sign up for free, and you can take part in this offer right away.

How to Get Your Free Fall Flower at Lowe’s

Here’s what you need to know about the free fall flower giveaway (which is similar to the free flower promotion Lowe’s ran for Mother’s Day).

1. Register for MyLowe’s Rewards

After registering to be a MyLowe’s Rewards Member, click on your account (on the upper right hand side of the screen). Select MyLowe’s Rewards from the drop-down menu. That will take you to the page with information about the “Fall Flower Free Member Gift.”

2. Reserve Your Spot

Click on “Reserve,” and you’ll be asked to confirm your local store and select a pickup time between two options (Sept. 13 or Sept. 14, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.).

3. Opt for Reminder

Choose whether or not you’d like the store to send you an email reminder.

4. Pick up

Pick up your free fall flower on the date you selected. You’ll need to show your Lowe’s Member ID on your smartphone. (It can be found on the store’s site or on the mobile app.)

A Few Caveats

Lowe’s isn’t saying exactly which fall-blooming flower you’ll get, and the selection varies by location. Also, the retailer is not guaranteeing that there will be enough flowers for everyone who wants one, so act fast while supplies last. And this freebie is not available to Lowe’s shoppers in Alaska or Hawaii.

Other Fall Decorating Options at Lowe’s

While you’re there, you might check out Lowe’s new releases in Halloween decorations for 2024. The retailer has introduced three new collections: a nautical-themed one called Haunted Harbor, a collection of Disney’s Haunted Mansion decor and an Addams Family line.

Lowe’s Halloween Bestsellers

Haunted Living 3.5-ft LED Kraken Monster Yard Decoration
$199 at Lowe’s
Disney 12-in Musical LED The Haunted Mansion Wall Plaque Decor
$34.98 at Lowe’s
5-ft Musical Wednesday Addams Raven Dance Animatronic
$249 at Lowe’s

Haunted Harbor’s spooky, under-the-sea theme features animatronics like a sea witch, an undead diver, a zombie fisherman, a creepy captain and a 3.5-ft LED kraken monster.

If you’re a Disney World fan, you might die for some of the funny statues and whimsically worded tombstones that stand guard at the Haunted Mansion. You can also buy the same front door plaque that hangs up at Disney’s scariest attraction. This 12-inch Musical LED sign lights up in eerie blue and welcomes guests with an instrumental version of the Haunted Mansion’s theme song, “Grim Grinning Ghosts.”

And whether you love the old “Addams Family” TV show or the new “Wednesday Addams” on Netflix, it’s worth checking out the 5-foot Musical Wednesday Addams Raven Dance Animatronic or the 4-foot Cousin Itt Musical Animatronic. If a severed hand is more your “thing,” hunt down the 13-inch Musical Wednesday Thing Bookstack Tabletop Animatronic. It impatiently taps a finger on a stack of books until a giant spider jumps out!
