Hilton Honors MyWay Benefits
You may have noticed Hilton’s made a splash adding new brands to their overall portfolio recently. The chain has created new ones, including Tempo, Motto, and Spark, and brought on a few from the outside like AutoCamp, SLH, NoMad, and Graduate. Given that the latter properties are all now bookable, I figured it’s a great time to focus a bit more on their Hilton Honors MyWay benefits for Gold and Diamond elite members.
Hilton Honors Gold may be the best mid-tier hotel status out there (hello, daily food and beverage credits) and is easily attainable via the Hilton Amex Surpass, Business, or Platinum and Business Platinum cards. Hilton Honors Diamond is perhaps the easiest top-tier hotel status to achieve; individuals can buy into the status via the Aspire’s $550 annual fee. Hardcore Hilton visitors can also earn it with 60 nights, 30 stays, or 120k earned base points.
Today, I’m focusing on these MyWay benefits which vary by brand, so members should also research standard Hilton Honors elite benefits.
AutoCamp
Here are the MyWay benefits Hilton Honors Gold elite members receive:
- One bundle of firewood per stay.
- Two eco-friendly waters.
- Space-available upgrades to Preferred Room.
Diamond elites receive:
- The above Gold benefits, plus
- One S’mores kit.
Graduate Hotels
Gold and Diamond elites receive:
- Space-available upgrades to Preferred Room.
- Daily Food and Beverage credit of $15 per person ($18 in select markets) within the US, and complimentary continental breakfast outside the US. Each benefit is for up to two people per room, per night.*
- 1k bonus points.*
* Gold members must pick one of these two benefits. Diamond members receive both.
NoMad
Gold and Diamond elites receive:
- Space-available upgrades to Preferred Room.
- Daily Food and Beverage credit of $25 per person within the US, and complimentary continental breakfast outside the US. Each benefit is for up to two people per room, per night.*
- 1k bonus points.*
* Gold members must pick one of these two benefits. Diamond members receive both.
SLH
- Space-available upgrades to Preferred Room.
- Complimentary continental breakfast for up to two people per room, per night.
My Initial Take on These Hilton Honors MyWay Benefits
Perhaps the brand I’m most excited to visit of the four, AutoCamp’s benefits for Hilton Honors elites are generally disappointing. First off, Golds and Diamonds don’t receive any daily breakfast or F&B benefit. (AutoCamp does offer complimentary granola to all visitors each morning, though.) A bundle of firewood for Golds is nice but will quickly disappear. This is a relatively insignificant benefit for those on longer stays, which these properties seem to encourage. And the only unique benefit for Diamonds is one S’mores kit. I’m curious to see how AutoCamp offers upgrades to preferred rooms, if at all. I don’t hold much hope for upgrades to nicer Airstreams or cabins. More likely, I’m thinking an upgrade would be a an improved view or location on the property.
I’m heartened by the MyWay offering at Graduate Hotels. I’ve found these properties are priced in the Hampton and Hilton Garden Inn neighborhood, whether via points or cash. But Graduate provides a $15 per-person F&B credit (up to $30 daily) for on-site dining. That’s more generous than HGI’s $10 per-person (up to $20) and Hampton’s sometimes-lacking complimentary breakfast.
Nomad slots in where I thought it would with Hilton’s other top-tier Waldorf, LXR, and Conrad brands. Visitors receive a $25 per-person (up to $50) daily F&B credit. It’s too bad only one property (London) cooperates with Hilton Honors currently. SLH offers complimentary continental breakfast for up to two daily, and I expect the extent of this benefit will be interpreted differently across properties.
Hilton Honors MyWay Benefits – Conclusion
I’m excited to see how elite benefits actually turn out at these new brands cooperating with Hilton Honors. I have an AutoCamp stay coming up and will surely report back with my elite experience. I’m just as intrigued to try out Graduate, in terms of their elite benefits but their distinct properties, as well. I won’t waste much time on NoMad until more properties open. And SLH will continue to be a case-by-case basis for my family and me.
Have you stayed in any of the recent brands to join Hilton Honors? How was your elite status experience?
