Fiji Airways Starts Flying Between Dallas and Fiji

Fiji Airways announced today new nonstop service from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to Nadi International Airport (NAN) in Fiji.

This is the  longest nonstop service for Fiji’s national carrier, initially operating three times per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Fiji Airways will service this route with its Airbus A350-900 XWB aircraft. The aircraft will feature 301 economy class seats and 33 business class lie-flat, all aisle access seats.

“This new route significantly enhances Fiji Airways’ connectivity in North America, making it easier than ever for Texans and U.S. travelers to explore Fiji’s pristine landscapes, rich culture, and warm hospitality, while also providing seamless access to the wider South Pacific region, Australia, New Zealand and beyond,” said CEO and Managing Director Andre Viljoen.

The new DFW-NAN route strengthens Fiji Airways’ growing presence in North America, joining existing service from Los AngelesSan FranciscoHonolulu, and Vancouver as the fifth nonstop link between North America and Fiji.

This also marks Fiji Airways’ 26th international direct route, which will seamlessly connect with the 27th direct service to Cairns, Australia once it launches on April 10, 2025.

Fiji Airways is offering introductory pricing with roundtrip fares to Fiji from $699 per person nonstop from Dallas Fort Worth until December 17, 2024. Travelers can also enjoy one-stop round trip fares to Australia from $1,179 and New Zealand from $1,079, via Nadi, Fiji.

This latest addition to Fiji Airways’ network comes as the airline is preparing to adopt the AAdvantage loyalty program next year as well as gain full membership in the oneworld® alliance from March 31, 2025.
