Etihad Adds Direct Route to Atlanta
Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has announced a major expansion today with ten new destinations starting in 2025.
The ten routes announced today will complement Etihad’s previously revealed new destinations for 2025: Prague, Warsaw, and Al Alamein.
For US based customers, the notable addition is the first-ever direct route to Atlanta, marking a major boost boost in Etihad’s U.S. network. Starting July 2, 2025, Etihad will offer four weekly nonstop flights aboard its Airbus A350-1000, establishing Etihad as the only Gulf carrier serving Atlanta.
The flight from Abu Dhabi to Atlanta will take 15 hours, while return eastbound flight will last 13 hours 30 minutes.
Atlanta will be Etihad’s fifth destination in the U.S. The UAE carrier also flies to Chicago, New York Washington, as well as Boston since March of 2024.
Other additions announced today include Hong Kong, Algiers, Chiang Mai, Hanoi, Krabi, Phnom Penh, Taipei Tunis, and Medan.
