My small dog loves drinking from her new water fountain. This keeps the water from stagnating if it’s been sitting for a long time, collecting dust and other things in the air. With the continuous movement of the water through the sponge, it keeps it fresh. Assembly was fairly straight forward and directions were easy to follow. It took me about 5 minutes to set up and that was only because the directions say to soak the sponge for 5 minutes.

One note, there are 2 white filters that look like they are packaging, but in reality, they are to put on the pump, so do not throw them away. I almost did! You get an extra filter and 2 extra sponges, along with a brush for cleaning.
