Bilt Rewards Adds New Redemption Option
Bilt Rewards is expanding its partnership with Lyft by giving members a new redemption option for their Bilt Points.
Lyft riders who link their Bilt Rewards and Lyft accounts will be able to pay for Lyft rides using their Bilt Points. Lyft is the first rideshare company to offer pay with points capability throughout this partnership with Bilt.
To start using Bilt Points for Lyft rides, users need to link their Bilt and Lyft accounts, and look for the ‘Points’ button when booking their next ride. This is located in the lower right-hand corner of the Lyft app when requesting a ride.
But is it worth using Bilt Points for Lyft rides? The answer is NO. You will get a value of 0.7 cent per point when redeeming for Lyft rides. That is not a good value for Bilt Points when you have transfer partner options like World of Hyatt.
