Pay Over Time Offers, An Easy 20K In Points!
There’s a new round of Pay Over Time offers going out for American Express cardholders today. These are some of my favorite offers out there and come with 20,000 FREE Membership Rewards points.
I saw this offer in my Amex Gold Card, but other Pay Over Time cards such as Amex Green, Amex Platinum and the business versions of these cards might also be targeted.
What Is Pay Over Time
If you are not familiar with Pay Over time here is a quick run down of the program. This program essentially allows you to break down large purchases into multiple payments. Here is how Amex describes the benefits:
- No fee to enroll.
- Added flexibility to pay eligible charges over time with interest.
- Simply choose each month to pay in full, the minimum amount due, or anything in between. It’s your choice.
- All eligible charges of $100 or more can be paid over time.
And for turning this feature on American Express will give people 20,000 points.
Where Do You Find The Offers
These offers are showing up in the Amex Offers section and sometimes come via regular snail mail. Remember that these offers will only appear for select cards that normally require a payment in full each month.
Conclusion
These offers are some of my favorite. There is not an easier 20K offer out there. Just remember to activate it but don’t actually use the service since that would mean you are paying interest.
And if you are not targeted for this offer, make sure to deactivate Pay Over Time, so you can have a chance at being targeted next time.
