Children ages 2 – 12 are eligible to receive 50% off the price of an Amtrak adult fare. The discount is eligible for those who are 12 and under at the time of the ride (not at the time of purchase).
With the purchase of an adult fare, one infant (under the age of 2) may ride free of charge provided they ride on the lap of the adult. Any additional infants per adult will be charged the discounted child fare. No promo code is needed for this deal.
Note that children ages 12 and under may not travel unaccompanied. They must travel with an adult who is at least 18 years old.
