Store Pickup
To see if an item is eligible for store pickup, check for its availability on the product page or look for the “Pick Up” option when checking out. Items that are in stock at the store will be ready for pickup within 24 hours after you place your order. If it needs to be shipped to your store, it’ll take about four to six days. Either way, you’ll receive an email confirmation when it’s ready for pickup.
You’ll need to bring a copy of your “Ready For Pickup” email and be ready to show your ID when you pick up your order. You have four days to pick up your item, and if you don’t, the store will cancel your order and issue you a refund.
Know the Return Policy
You may be thinking….how can I save on my order by just knowing the return policy? This tactic isn’t so much about getting a discount, but more so about bypassing avoidable fees. While many retailers offer free online returns, UO is one that doesn’t. For every mail-in return, you’ll be charged a $5 restocking fee that will be deducted from your order. Unfortunately, if you order furniture on Urban Outfitters and want to return it, you’ll be subject to a restocking fee regardless. That’s because you can’t return furniture purchases in store. Furniture restocking fees vary by product, but you’ll find the exact restocking fee of the furniture piece you want on the item’s product page. According to UO’s return policy, select furniture can be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Lastly, UO MRKT, which is a marketplace used by external sellers to sell on Urbanoutfitters.com, may be subject to a return and/or restocking fee. That’s because those sellers have their own shipping and return terms. A product that’s a UO MRKT product will be marked as such on a product page. That product page will also include sellers’ shipping and return policies.
