If you’re looking for tried and true store-bought seasoning mix blends, check out this tasty list and add to cart!
Life is too short to eat bland food! I’m a big fan of convenient seasoning blends to quickly add flavor and spice to home-cooked recipes. Sometimes, it’s easier to add a good blend instead of measuring each individual spice. This list of my top 10 is curated straight from my own spice cabinet!
I’m guilty of sometimes buying seasoning blends and then not using them, whether it’s because they’re not memorable, or I have no clue what to use them on. That’s why I’m sharing recipes and food pairing inspiration below, so you’ll know exactly how to use them when you buy them.
1. Melting Pot Garlic & Wine Seasoning
I’m starting with my current favorite seasoning – Melting Pot Garlic & Wine! It’s the signature blend from the restaurant, though I’ve never been there. This seasoning can elevate anything, from fancy pasta sauces to a simple frozen meal.
It has a rich wine and garlic flavor without needing to open a bottle. The blend also includes salt, dill, parsley, oregano, and citric acid.
Try it on popcorn, scrambled eggs, tacos, or homemade cheese fondue. I’ve also used it on roasted veggies, pasta, canned soups, and grilled chicken – so delicious!
2. Herbs De Provence
Herbs de Provence (or Herbes de Provence) is a French herb blend with thyme, basil, rosemary, tarragon, savory, marjoram, bay leaf, and lavender. It’s perfect for elevating poultry dishes and homemade salad dressings. The lavender adds a touch of elegance to any meal!
Try using Herbs de Provence in:
- Chicken Noodle Soup
- Chicken Salad Sandwiches
- Chicken Pot Pie
- Chicken and Dumplings
3. Kinder’s The Blend Seasoning
Kinder’s “The Blend” is a mix of salt, cracked pepper, and crunchy garlic chunks. It pairs well with chicken, beef, fish, and veggies. I love using it for burgers, chicken nuggets, and roasted vegetables.
The Blend is a great all-purpose seasoning that deserves a permanent spot in your spice cabinet!

4. Fiesta Ranch Seasoning
Hidden Valley’s Fiesta Ranch seasoning is a zesty twist on the classic, with tomatoes, red bell peppers, and onions – kind of like a Doritos chip! I mix it with cottage cheese for a tasty, protein-packed veggie dip.
You can also sprinkle Fiesta ranch on raw carrot chips for a healthier chip alternative and on crunchy roasted chic peas in the air fryer. Yum!
5. Kinder’s The Taco Blend
I love this organic taco seasoning for its smoky flavor and elevated spicy temperature. It’s perfect for ground beef tacos, taco soup, and grilled carne asada. While homemade taco seasoning is great, this ready-to-go option is fantastic!
Tip: Check out your local Costco store for the best savings on this one. You can also grab a small pack from Walmart to test it out, too.
6. Everything Bagel Seasoning
Everything Bagel seasoning, with sesame seeds, poppy seeds, garlic, onion, and salt, is a flavor booster we use on many foods! It’s not just for bagels and avocado toast—its versatility makes it a staple in our kitchen.

7. Kinder’s Buttery Steakhouse
You’ll enjoy high-end steakhouse flavor straight from your own grill, smoker, or oven. This delicious Buttery Steakhouse seasoning combines real butter with herbs and cracked pepper for a versatile flavor that is honestly tasty on everything! We use it for steaks, chicken, pork chops, and roasted or air-fried veggies too.
8. Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning
This is a tasty addition to gumbo, chili, soup, jambalaya and stew. It has salt, garlic, red pepper, and creole spices for some heat. This has been my go-to for many years to enhance the flavor of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and more!
Use this excellent Cajun seasoning to make:
9. Trader Joe’s Green & Red Hatch Chile Flakes
Trader Joe’s has lots of unique seasoning blends! Their dried Hatch Chile flakes are a favorite in our kitchen. Hatch chiles are seasonal, so having them dried is genius. They’re more flavorful and elevated than regular red chili flakes in my opinion.
It’s delicious on Mexican foods, pizza, pasta, or anything you’d like to add a deeper spicy flavor.
- Trader Joe’s Green and Red Hatch Chile Flakes – $3.99
10. True Lemon, Orange & Lime Spice Blends
True Citrus is known for its lemon and lime crystal packets, but they also offer amazing seasoning blends! I love using the lemon-pepper blend on seafood and veggies, orange-ginger for teriyaki chicken and stir-fries, and lime-cilantro on rice, guacamole, fajitas, and more.
